not a huge fan of the band mainly because the singer is kind of a cornball in his interviews. the band is pretty decent, but i would love to see them... their famous black mass show in 2004. footage was confiscated by police so they werent able to release it till recently.

Time of Land is the name of an E.P. we kind of fell into while working on our next full-length album. It was sold in physical form only once: at our first show ever, at The Stone in NYC. About 50 tapes were sold that night.
Now, the E.P. is available for free to everyone who couldn't make it to the show, in digital form. Thank you very much, to everyone, for your continued and completely overwhelming support for us, our label, and our music. It is deeply, deeply appreciated. LOCRIAN - The Crystal World

these are the first two tracks off of "THE CRYSTAL WORLD"
Locrian released "Drenched Lands" as an experimental/noise,drone band and immediately caught my attention. After seeing/meeting up with them last year in Baltimore I was even more into them. The live set was incredible. The mood set in drenched lands is a dark depressing dead world. Check out their Myspace and listen to ghost repeater. After Drenched lands was "Territories" which was just as dark, but some changes in the band helped to give a fuller sound. After listening to their new release "The Crystal World" off of utech records i continue to be impressed by this band. It never gets old, they never do the same thing twice, and it is always darker and heavier than the release before. With the addition of a third member, more instruments, and more vocals the noise/drone band comes at you with a different sound with the same devastating feedback. Also i will be getting/posting Andre Foisy's (of Locrian) solo project once i get it.
